How to optimize entry and exit movements in lathe processes with Fikus
When we finish a part, Fikus allows us both at the entrance and exit of an operation, especially finishing, the possibility of controlling that movement, either tangent, perpendicular, geometrically, etc.
But depending on the type of part, movement optimization and finish, we may be interested in adding an exit radius or other exit movement.
With these two parameters of Radius and Offset for the inward and outward movement we can apply a radius and a distance, to optimize, as we see in the following image, the finishing of the part, the elimination of excess material, etc.
